The stories within these sections along with his photography reflect different cultures, societies, and events that has shaped Laurent’s experiences and on-going understanding of our diverse world.
As a proud member of the Al Jazeera America team, from inception to the very end, Laurent was tasked in finding voices throughout the United States and often abroad to share their perspective and stories, on-camera, with our anchors/correspondents for the American audience. Al Jazeera's mission allowed Laurent to reach far, wide and deep to produce impactful and current stories relevant to events developing throughout the the United States and the globe. In addition to bringing on diplomats, UN representatives, political and Middle East analysts, explorers, filmmakers, journalists, and photographers to Al Jazeera’s audience Laurent often brought on the ‘voiceless’, people affected by current events that included the Washington mudslides, Ukraine uprising, and most memorable a young Syrian refugee describing his journey from Syria to Germany via Turkey.
* Update- As of September 2016 Laurent has been working for Al Jazeera English news as a Interview Producer-a great opportunity and platform to bring in voices from around the world to share their perspective to a truly global audience. His cameras are never far away when time allows.

Verite Pictures is Laurent's on-going photography. Due to his graduate studies in digital media followed by the continuous deadline nature of his work at Al Jazeera covering current events, Laurent’s photography was placed on hold for a few years, but never diminished. As of recent, he has picked up his cameras and started to get back on the streets with camera in hand in search for stories of the 'voiceless'. His full photography website can be accessed through the link provided in the menu.
